I cook for my dog when she is sick. Usually rice with cream of chicken soup. She loves it and it seems to soothe her tummy. :)

That sounds like a good idea Rosie, I never thought about using broth. It's inexpensive and sounds like it's really good for them.

My dog just eats Raw food. It's not the diet for everyone, but it works great for him. My vet lectures me to no end, but at the same time tells me he's the healthiest dog she's ever seen.

Yep. Raw Beef, Turkey, Chicken, venison, and so forth. Commercial dog foods have so many preservatives, many of which are allergy causing. I pay a bit more for food, but I pay a lot less in vet bills...
